Asbestos Health Risks

Asbestos poses serious health hazards. When their fibers are breathed, they can cause significant respiratory illness, such as the uncommon and dreaded mesothelioma — a kind of lung cancer. Asbestos, in addition to causing this uncommon kind of lung cancer, also causes other diseases such as:

Impairment of the lungs
Warts caused by asbestos and other skin issues
Asbestosis and many more

What Exactly Is Asbestos?

ABC Environmental Contracting Services Of St. Louis is a commercial asbestos removal company based in St. Louis that specializes in asbestos removal. It is our goal to ensure that every business building is asbestos-free, so that tenants and visitors are not exposed to this dangerous material.

We have gained the skills, knowledge, and equipment required to properly assist this procedure via the use of various commercial asbestos removal services.

If you own a business property or operate in a commercial facility that was built before 1978, there is a good possibility that asbestos was utilized as an insulator and fire retardant in the structure. Even if just tiny amounts of asbestos are discovered, it is critical that you contact a professional like ABC Environmental Contracting Services Of St. Louis to do a survey and perform the necessary removal and asbestos disposal.

From the moment she arrived to clean up and repair the water damage to our home, she demonstrated expertise, confidence in her knowledge and skills, leadership with her team, and impeccable customer service. My family and I were immediately put at ease by Megan’s manner and extensive knowledge. She clearly knew her business and got right to work. She was thorough and professional the entire time. All of our questions were addressed patiently and completely. She arrived when promised and called and messaged when she said she would. The work was completed quickly and well. The team cleaned up everything as they left. Cleaning up from a water incident in one’s home is never going to be a good time, but Megan made the experience as easy and pain free as possible. Any company would be lucky to have her on staff! Read more

Dionte worked with us and did an impressive job taping up our basement to make us feel safe, he also took some construction trash out from the wall we had to take down to access the asbestos. Overall we are incredibly impressed with the work that they did and could not recommend ABC environmental enough and would again like to shout out how amazing Dionte was. Read more
