ABC Environmental Contracting Services specializes in controlled environmental demolition for asbestos abatement in buildings of all sizes across the Columbia area. When asbestos is involved, demolition is often the only way to fully remove affected materials, and it has to be done in a way that keeps fibers contained. Our demolition process follows OSHA and EPA asbestos regulations, and we work to keep job sites safe and finish on schedule and on budget.
Sometimes asbestos-containing ceilings, flooring, insulation or spray coatings are too damaged to remove any other way, while the rest of the building is sound and asbestos-free. For those jobs we use selective interior demolition, containing and removing only the affected areas and protecting the parts of the building that stay. Where possible, we salvage and recycle materials that were not affected.
